The KNUST Distance Learning Students Association (DLSA) has completed vetting six aspirants contesting five national executive positions ahead of the 2026 elections.

The exercise was held on Saturday, 18th July 2026, at the IDL Conference Center, Kumasi, under the supervision of a five-member Vetting Committee chaired by Victor Owusu, Speaker of the Senate for the Association.

The aspirants were assessed on their vision, plans, experience and suitability for their respective positions, with all candidates given equal opportunity to respond to questions. The exercise was conducted with professionalism and decorum.
The successful exercise marks an important step towards the 2026 DLSA elections, the Electoral Commission announced the outcome of the vetting following its review of the proceedings.
