The Institute of Distance Learning (IDL) is launching Phase Two of the UNIDO / EU Youth Rising TVET  Programme for Young People in Liberia, a ten-month capacity-building programme for the 2nd cohort of Liberian students in agricultural and agribusiness disciplines.

Students arrive on 19th September 2026, beginning a journey through orientation, foundation training, practical instruction, industrial attachment, and certification, running to July 2027.

Training spans four key areas — Animal Production, Crop Production, Aquaculture, and Agribusiness. Building on the success of Phase One, which drew glowing feedback from trainees and funders alike, IDL has strengthened its logistics planning and appointed dedicated officers to oversee student welfare and project visibility.

With a strong facilitator team in place and an official welcome ceremony planned soon after the students arrive, IDL is set to deliver another impactful chapter in this partnership with UNIDO.
