Purchase of Application E-Voucher

Applicants may access the application portal via https://admissions.knust.edu.gh.
- Create an account on the portal
- Verify the account in your email
- Purchase the application E-voucher
- USSD Application Option
Alternatively, Ghanaian applicants may dial the shortcode *415*55# on all mobile networks and follow the on-screen prompts to purchase the application e-voucher.

Complete the application form by carefully following the detailed instructions provided on the admission portal.
Steps to purchase e-voucher via mobile shortcode (Ghanaian applicants only):
- Dial *415*55# on all networks in Ghana
- Select option 3 for Application Forms
- Select option 2 for Institute of Distance Learning (IDL)
- Select programme category:
- option 1 for Undergraduate/Top-up
- option 2 for Postgraduate
- option 3 for Diploma
- View cost price of selected category and select option 1 to continue
- Enter your first and last name and continue
- Review transaction details and select option 1 to confirm payment.
Submission of Supporting Documents
Applicants are required to upload Certified True Copies of all relevant Certificates and Academic Transcripts. Only documents submitted at the time of application shall be considered during the evaluation process.
Deadline for Submission of application forms
All completed application forms must be submitted online on or before Monday, 15th December 2025.
Note: Applicants are not required to post hard copies of the application forms
Mode of Instruction
Teaching and facilitation will be conducted through a blended learning approach, comprising both online and face-to-face sessions held on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) at designated centres.
International applicants
International applicants may access the application portal via https://admissions.knust.edu.gh.

Applicants who are admitted will be required to pay the appropriate application fee stated in the table below before registration.

Documents you will need before you apply online:
- Passport picture soft copy (Dimension 470 by 470 pixels - JPG/JPEG/PNG format, with a light green background)
- A certified scanned true copy of your:
- WASSCE/SSCE/ ‘A’ Level certificate - Diploma & Certificate applicants only (PDF format)
- HND/Diploma certificate - Top-up undergraduate applicants only (PDF format)
- Undergraduate certificate – Postgraduate applicants only (PDF format)
- Scanned copy of your birth certificate (PDF format)
- Scanned copy of recognized National ID (JPG/JPEG/PNG/)
- Details of TWO References needed include, full Name, Rank, Email address and phone number
Steps to complete your online application
Applicants must follow carefully the instructions
- Visit https://admissions.knust.edu.gh (KNUST Admissions portal). Login using the serial number and pin on your e-voucher.
- Applicants must ensure that they select DISTANCE LEARNING MODE and not regular stream when beginning the online application.
- Complete and submit the application online.
- Only results and documents provided by applicants at the time of submission shall be considered.
- Applicants must ensure that they use active phone numbers and email addresses during and after the application process.
