Ms. Ama Mansa Amoah-Kusi

Biography

Ama Mansa Amoah-Kusi is Currently a Junior Assistant registrar at KNUST's Institute of Distance Learning (IDL). She helps study centers in the Midland Zone (Kumasi, Sunyani, and Techiman) with academic and administrative support.

She oversees activities in the Midland zone and provides strategic direction. She provides the necessary logistics for facilitation, markets IDL within the zone to stay competitive, and works with other Center Coordinators to provide the necessary environment and support for all IDL activities.

Ama holds a master's degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management and Consulting) as well as a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She graduated from Holy Child Secondary School in 2002. She speaks English and Twi fluently. Ama Mansa is a Christian married woman who attends the Word of Faith Outreach Church.

Before joining the Institute, Ama Mansa worked in the Dean's office at the Faculty of Civil and Geo-engineering, as well as the Supply Chain and Information Systems Department at KNUST's School of Business.

Ama is goal-oriented, creative, and eager to learn. She looks for opportunities to put her experience and skills to use while also growing her strengths and capacity.

She is a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She likes to sing, listen to music, and read. She is currently a member of 'Ghana Toastmasters.'
