Mr. Ebenezer Tettey Otieku is the Senior Assistant Registrar at the KNUST Institute of Distance Learning (IDL), since November 2015. Mr Otieku started his professional career as a University Administrator in 2002 as the Assistant Registrar for the then Faculty of Environmental and Development Studies (FEDS), now part of the College of Art and Built Environment, till 2004. Prior to his appointment as an Assistant Registrar forFEDS, Mr. Otieku worked with the Ministry of Local Government and RuralDevelopment as a Planning Officer. He was based in the Eastern Region.
From 2004-2008, he served as the Assistant Registrar at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. He was then transferred to the Academic and Students Affairs Office responsible for Admissions in October 2008 and as expected, continued to work assiduously there until November 2015 when he was transferred to IDL.
Mr Otieku had his education at the University of Ghana, Legon, completing his Master of Public Administration (MPA) in 2001. He is a member of the International Professional Managers Associations (IPMA), London, and the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA). His passion lies in the fact that, wherever you are placed as a University Administrator, the University Management knows that you can perform and improve that office. Hence, execute all tasks and assignments effectively and efficiently, go the extra mile and lift the image of your College and KNUST as a whole.
